Experts advise farmers to cut fennel plants separately instead of cutting them all at once

The agronomists of the University of Agriculture advised the farmers that instead of cutting the fennel plants at the same time, they should try to cut the bunches separately and start harvesting the fennel when the fennel plant has reached its full height. During a meeting, he told that fennel is grown in almost the entire country including Punjab.





He said that apart from being a bush, the fennel plant is three to five feet high. He said that fennel is a very versatile thing that provides strength to the mind along with keeping the eye sight. He said. Or that fennel oil is also used in food and cooking.
He said that in the end of April and mid-May, bunches of fennel seeds are ripe and ready, so special care should be taken in harvesting them.


He said that the bunches that ripen first should be cut first and the bunches that ripen later should be cut later. He said that the farmers should spread the cut fennel bunches on a sack and dry them in the shade. Do this and keep turning them upside down during the interval of 2 to 3 days and when all the bunches are well dried, the seeds are separated from the sticks and stored. Can also be obtained from the staff.
